“Big Jim” Murray, part of the “Felger & Mazz” afternoon show on Beasley Media Group “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM Boston, has inked a new one-year extension contract. Murray was among the names floated as a replacement for Rich Shertenlieb in mornings at the station, which eventually went to Rob “Hardy” Poole.
“I have an option that they’re picking up — was what they’ve told me — next month,” Murray told Mike Felger on the “Off Air Show” on Facebook Live, according to The Boston Herald. “So, I’m at least here for the next year.”
